Majandra on Politically Incorrect
Okies, here's what Emily's been waiting for...my honest to God journal notes from before and after seeing the taping of Politically Incorrect (tomorrow night at 12 am, on ABC).
"Sitting outside--turns out I had reserved seating, so it looks like I'm the creme de la creme or something. I'm grinning like the world's biggest idiot. Majandra!!! *squeals* I'm so bad, utterly hopeless.
I wonder how many fellow Roswellians are here. You can't tell, looking at the faces. Guys from the Price is Right walk by--hopeful for their 15 minutes of fame. I'm just stoked to be this close to seeing Majandra. No, I won't do a happy dance here and now...
So preliminary impressions--whoohoo!!!
In the studio, second row, right over "Politically", four seat from the right, facing Bill Maher... Now if only Majandra would sit facing us...then my life would be complete.
Post-taping
That rocked. No time to get near Majandra, but she was sassy and held her own. Mom thought she had a 'tude. She looked good though--all black. Hair the same, but flipped under. I don't think it was curly when she was younger. She fidgeted a lot, changing position. Talked a lot like Maria, only more extroverted, not afraid to speak out. She rocks. Couldn't sit still. I think she might have been a bit intimidated, since she was the youngest by far on the show, but she held her own and spoke with a sense of reality. I think I'd like her as a friend, just on that honesty factor.
On the whole, a little disappointed that I didn't get to meet her, but it was cool to see Majandra Delfino instead of Maria DeLuca."
So those are my unedited journal notes. And as for my personal reflections--well, if her sister has short blond hair and a very round face, I may have sat two seats over and one row up from her during the taping. And it was cool. I only shouted Majandra's name once, and beamed at her the whole time during the show, but everyone can be a dork... I dunno. I'm still beaming. *happy radish dance*
I think I was the only Majandra fan there though, cuz I was the only one hooting when she was introduced. Gah, I'm so terrible. But I enjoyed it. And if I would've thought of it, I would've stalked the stage door to the parking lot afterwards...
But sadly, no pictures, because they confiscated my camera before taping. Oh well. Maybe I'll get fanmail soon. And no chance to ask her questions, because they had a dorky show warm up guy cracking jokes at the commercials. It was fun though. I wish you guys could've been there with me as my radish sisters.
So that's that. Any more details, email me. :)
