Welcome to Roswell Elementary, a series of stories authored by Kara and Emily of Roswell Underground fame.

If you're wondering about the history behind the series, here's how it all started: Back in December of 1999, Kara and I (Emily) were IMing each other after 'Heat Wave' aired, and one of us asked the question, "I wonder what everybody on the show was like when they were younger? And what did they think of each other?"

The ideas started flying, and Roswell Elementary was born. There were originally 14 Roswell Elementary stories, which unbelievably, we were so enthused about that we wrote them all in the space of a single weekend.

When the stories were released to the public (one a day for two weeks on our website, Roswell Underground), the reception was so great that we decided to continue writing 'Lost Episodes' of Roswell Elementary to satisfy the demand for more fic. For a while there, we were writing and releasing an RE a day (to keep the fic doctors away I guess).

Our interest in Roswell, and in Roswell fic, began to wane towards the end of the second season of Roswell, and the RE's and RU fell into a state of... er... non-updatedness.

With the release of the camping trip arc in March 2002, we no longer write Roswell Elementary fics. At least that's the offical word anyway. We do occasionally get the urge to slap up another story or two, so keep checking back. :) But we will leave the old stories up for you to enjoy anyway. And as long as there is interest in Roswell, they will remain here for people to discover.

Let us take you back to simpler, more innocent times. When the Roswell Seven were all together in Mr. Raddish's fifth grade class. Get to know them all in a new way, back when they were Dorkbutt, Cheesehead, Princess Isabel, science Dorktwins Max and Liz, Chessboy, and Chia Head Valenti.
