Yes, that's right, Danilise (Dani for short) and I ventured over to Six Flags New England in July of 2000 to meet the Fair Mr. Fehr....

Meeting Dani was very cool, first of all. *waves to Dani, her 'other' partner in crime and smiles* She's very nice and sweet, kinda quiet but cool... Definitely wonky. And she's a terrible driver, but she has an excuse since she's from Boston. *grins at Dani*

First we went to Michael's (thus starting our very Roswellian day) and bought a couple of fake plastic radishes. Dani had to ask one of the employees where they were because we couldn't find them. We searched all around and then we finally found a couple packages with radishes in them. We picked out the best one with the most quality radishes, and then we decided to get a little bit of gold ribbon to tie around the camel's neck, and then we tied the radish to the ribbon. *frickers*

When we were driving up to Agawam, I saw a red Jetta and Dani freaked out because she thought that I was yelling at her to turn or something. Sorry, Dani. :) (Second Roswellian spotting of the day.)

When we pulled into Six Flags, we had a third Roswellian spotting of the day when there was a license plate with DLS on it, in honor of Kara's very own Drooly Love Slave. :)

At first we had no idea where to go to look for Brendan. We kept asking people at the park but nobody knew anything. Finally somebody told us about a Guest Relations booth or something, so we backtracked until we found that and they told us where Brendan was.

So we walked until we saw a line full of mainly teenage girls, and we knew that was where Brendan was going to be. We were right at the back of the line until some girls from Fanforum, who were waiting at the front of the line, spotted me. I had told them on the Six Flags thread that I'd be wearing purple Sketchers so they'd recognize me. And apparently it worked. :) So we got to cut in line with them, which was kinda weird. But cool.

Then Emily made a fool out of herself by spilling her popcorn and 7-up all over the place, but we won't talk about that. *blushes furiously*

Then Brendan came walking towards us. All of the girls were squealing his name. It was really annoying... Gahh, droolers. *thwaps them all in succession* I didn't scream or anything though. I was good. Dani can verify this. *g* But I did take a pic while he walked by us to the table where he sat while he did autographs. I dunno if it'll come out since I was kinda fumbling all around but I hope that it does. :)

When I got up to the front, which didn't take too long since we were some of the first people in line, I plopped the radish and the camel down on the table and he looked up. He recognized it right away and he was laughing and everything. I forgot to tell him about Egypt though. Dangit. Kara will have to explain at the party I guess. :) I mentioned Kara like the good little radish sister I am, and I told him that Kara said hi too. So he signed my picture and then I told him that I wanted another one for Kara...

He said, "Another one?" and looked at me with his eyebrow cocked like, 'whoa.'

I said, "Yeah, she has a little collection, you know." And he laughed.

(Sorry Kara. *g*)

So then Dani got her autograph, and I snapped a couple of pics. :)

Then we decided to go on a ride. It was a backwards roller coaster, and it was very jerky. My head banged all over the place while it was going, but it was pretty cool.

We decided to look for Roswellian-related things at the park (just for you, Kara *g*) so I snapped a bunch of different pictures. Dani took a picture of me by an M&M vending machine, very cool. :) And we took pictures of some other stuff too, I can't really remember what-all. Oooh, there were some fake palm trees and I took a picture of those. For Maria's island, you know. :)

We walked back by where Brendan was and we were going to get back in line but I decided I didn't want to. *frickers* Oh, but we would change our minds, oh yes. :)

We wanted to go on the Superman ride but the line was sooooooo long, it looked like it would be at least a couple of hours' wait. It looked really cool though! Dani and I kept saying that there should be a Spiderman ride. I still think there should be. *g* Even though I really hate that ride, The Spider. Gahh, that ride is so evil. That's about the only ride that I can't go on. Oh, and those falling rides, where they drop you down. I hate those too.

So we decided to go back just to see what Brendan was up to. Some of the Fanforum girls were still loitering around there. We didn't really talk to them too much though. I decided that I wanted to get back in line because I had forgotten that I wanted Brendan to write a 'u' word on my autograph. You know, like 'colour', 'favourite', or something like that. I just dove those crazy Canadian/English spellings. I have no idea why. I just do. :)

Unfortunately, they were doing this stupid kinda karaoke thing when I went back up there in the background, urgh... I felt so bad for Brendan having to sit there and listen to the teenyboppers belt out Britney Spears songs for like four hours.

So Brendan really couldn't hear me too well when I was talking to him about writing the 'u' word. He said, "Wait a minute, what? You want me to write a word?"

And I said, "No, no, you know a Canadian 'u' word, like color, you know how we spell it here in America without a 'u', and then you guys spell it with the extra 'u', like c-o-l-o-u-r?"

He still didn't get it though. *shakes head, blushing*

So then he said, "I tell you what, I'll write a special Canadian word that you probably won't know."

I said, "Yeah, okay." And then he reached for another picture to write it on, and I said, "No, no, just use this one. I don't want you to waste another one." (Talking about my already autographed piccie, you know... :) )

So he writes the word "Toque" on my autograph.

And I said, "Actually, I do know what that is. It's a hat, right?" And I made a doofy little 'hat' kinda gesture while I said it. *grins, embarassed*

And he laughed and said, "Yeah, they call them that in Canada" or something like that.

And I told him that Dani was Canadian so she and Brendan bonded over Canada for a little while. *sighs, misty-eyed at the beautiful Canadian moment*

And then I went to brag to the Fanforum cronies over my special autograph with the word 'toque' on it. They probably thought I was insane. But probably no more insane than Brendan did, so that's okay. :)

Then we decided to leave the park... We stopped to take a couple of pics at the banner that was at the front gate that said, "Brendan Fehr" on it. *g* We said 'cheesehead' instead of 'cheese'. *g*

Dani had left Kara's number in the car so we couldn't call her while we were at the park, so we decided to drive around looking for a pay phone. We finally found one, and there were some more Roswellian moments for Emily to take snapshots of. Like the Rae Cafe or whatever it was called. Really, it was called that! And I also took a shot of a Camel cigarettes sign in the window.

We tried to call Kara but it wouldn't work. We tried again when we got back to my house. Also with no success. I think it might've been because you were using a credit card or something, Dani? Because I called after you left and it worked just fine.

It was really fun, and Brendan is so nice in person. He has a *very* nice smile too. He needs to smile more often on Roswell, definitely.
